Company Description: “Virsto is inventing storage management for the virtual server age. We believe every server should be virtualized so cloud and enterprise data centers can be more responsive, green, and inexpensive to build and operate. But bloated storage infrastructure, designed for the pre-virtual age, means that half of servers can’t go virtual. Virsto’s mission is to obliterate the storage barriers to universal deployment of virtual servers. We are seeking additional beta customers and partners for the products we’ll be launching later this year.”

After a crucial role in the IPO of Evolve Software, Mark worked on multiple storage virtualization projects. Before starting Virsto, he was CEO of storage software vendor Creekpath, where he engineered a successful acquisition by Opsware/HP.
